Montella-Fiorentina, is broken: the Milan back on track for coach
The exit from the Europa League with two heavy defeats, the break with the environment purple. Vincenzo Montella seems farther and farther away from Fiorentina, at the end of a project that took him to almost certain targets, such as the Coppa Italy lost last year in the final against Napoli, or precisely the semifinals in the International Cup this year against Sevilla. But now the idyll appears finished.
Montella has a contract until 2017 with the purple, but it is an agreement that may stop short according to today's edition of Tuttosport. Milan, on the hunt for a class coach for next season, back to consider his profile, although the concrete runway today is called Unai Emery and the dream remains the return of Carlo Ancelotti. But the former Roma is an eccellent solution for "Italian Milan" that Silvio Berlusconi wont for next year.
The node is the termination clause, valued at around € 5 million. AC Milan today, with outstanding contracts of Seedorf and Inzaghi until 2016, can not afford such an expense, in addition to a salary of at least 2.5 million net per season for Montella. The Rossoneri will not go hunting the technical Campania, but wait for the evolution of the facts: if come the final divorce between the coach and the Florentine square, then it would be a feasible concrete contact between Montella and Milan.
